The Donato Academy of Hairstyling and Aesthetics Scholarship Program is
available to recent graduates or students that are in their final year of high school.

How to Apply:

1. Complete Application Form:
   Students may request an application in the following ways:

2. Submit Written Essay:
   Applications must be completed and submitted with a 250 word written essay that answers one of the two following questions:
   1. Why do you feel you should receive a scholarship from the Donato Academy?
   2. What interests you most in a career in the hair and/or beauty industry?
3. Transcript:
   A transcript issued by the applicant’s secondary school, indicating the applicant’s academic standing and GPA.
4. Letter of Commendation or Recommendation:
   Applicant may include a letter of recommendation from school official, principal, teacher or guidance counselor. Letter should be original and printed on school letterhead.
5. Photocopy:
   Ensure all documents are photocopied prior to submitting as copies sent will not be returned.
6. Submit Documents:
   All original documents must be submitted together in person or by mail to:

Selection Process:

Applicants will be selected and invited to come for an interview with the Academy Director. The applicants are considered based on the completed application, written essay and the answers to the interview questions. The interview questions identify the applicants’ willingness to learn, professionalism and reasons for wanting to further a career in the beauty industry. The winners will be announced after consideration of the above. Winners may be posted on the Donato Academy website and printed in press releases or print collateral.

Deadline for Submission:
The $5000 Scholarship submission is required by November 15. The $1000 Scholarship submission is required by November 15 for September or January enrollment and Mar 15 for April or June enrollment.
